This March the Neuroscience Department of the Erasmus MC hosts its third Brain Awareness Week, with this year's theme: Neurotopia! In a week filled with brain-related activities we hope to spread awareness about brain research and its importance in society. The week includes a philosophy vs. neuroscience debate, a pubquiz, and labtours. The main event takes place on the weekend (21st-22nd of March) in the Natural History Museum, where you can discover the research being done in our department through a number of interactive workshops! The event is free of charge and open to all (young, old, expert, laymen, Dutch and English speakers). Register for free online: www.brainawareness.nl and join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/4186271648065584/ We hope to see you in Neurotopia! Brain Awareness Week is the global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science. Every March, partners host imaginative activities in their communities that share the wonders of the brain and the impact brain science has on our everyday lives.
