Dr. Lieke Kros was awarded the Erasmus MC Fellowship
Congratulations to Dr. Lieke Kros who was awarded the Erasmus MC Fellowships! This grant is a permanent part of Lof der Geneeskunst. Dr. Kros will use her expertise to study epilepsy and autism spectrum disorder. She is developing a new system to understand what goes wrong with mouse models of epilepsy and autism. This new system will allow her to measure and stimulate the activity of different brain regions in their cage environment for a long time. Dr. Kros expects to gain insight into which brain mechanisms are responsible for the disease process and how stimulation can improve this.
