Department of Neuroscience Outreach Event was a big success!
On the weekend of 16-17 March 2019 the department of Neuroscience in collaboration with the Natural History Museum of Rotterdam opened their doors to the public to raise awareness about the basic way the brain functions and the research neuroscientists do on neurological disorders. It was all a part of the International Brain Awareness Week initiative, a global movement to create a bridge between science and the public.
The event was a great success with over 300 people attending the workshops and lectures organized in the Natural History Museum and taking tours in the research labs of the Erasmus Medical Center. Our students, postdocs and professors also had a lot of fun preparing the experiments and giving the lectures!
